内容記述 | 本研究は,学生の保健師に対する関心度と職業選択への志望状況を把握し,今後の保健師教育の検討の示唆を得ることを目的とし調査を行った。 平成X年2月と平成X年9月に保健師教育の臨地実習を終了したA大学学生49名を調査対象とし,質問紙調査を実施した。 大学進学理由として「保健師を目指していた」と関連がみられたのは,「看護師・保健師両方の免許取得可能だから」(.460),「保健師への関心度」(.744),「資格取得のため」(.492),「憧れ」(.602),「入学前の保健師職業選択志望」(.569),「実習前の職業選択志望」(.604),「実習後の職業選択志望」(.426)だった。 「入学前の保健師への関心度」と関連がみられたのは,「資格取得のため」(.499),「憧れ」(.604),「入学前の保健師職業選択志望」(.660),「実習前の保健師職業選択志望」(.649),だった。 保健師としての職業選択志望と進路選択に対する自己効力との関連は,「実習前の保健師職業選択志望」では,「一つの職業に絞り込むこと」(.335),「卒後大学院に行くことが必要か決定すること」(.398)と相関を認め,「実習後の保健師職業選択志望」では,「一つの職業に絞り込むこと」(.342)と相関を認めた。 大学進学理由として保健師を目指していた人は,看護師・保健師の免許取得や保健師という職業に関心が高く,在学中も実習を通して保健師の職業選択志望が高かった。また,保健師という職業に対し関心が高い人は,保健師に対する憧れをもち,資格取得という目的意識が高いという結果が得られた。さらに,実習を通して保健師選択を志望していた人は,一つの職業に絞り込む自信をもっていたことから,元々保健師志望の学生のみならず,保健師に関心の低い学生に対しても学びの動機づけにつながるような十分な実習時間の確保や内容の検討,教育の充実が求められることが示唆された。 |

内容記述 | To elucidate the current situation in public health nursing education and to identify future research topics, we investigated the extent of nursing students’ interest in public health nursing and their aspirations toward this field as a career choice. A survey questionnaire was administered to 49 nursing students who had done community care fieldwork in February and September of 2013. Factors relating to their decision to enter college “to become a public health nurse” were “acquiring both a nursing and public health nurse license” (.460), “degree of interest in public health nursing” (.744), “wanting to obtain a license” (.492), “admiration” (.602), “intention to become a public health nurse before admission” (.569), “intention to make a career choice before field experience” (.604), and “intention to make a career choice after field experience” (.426). Factors relating to the degree of interest in public health nursing before admission were “wanting to obtain a license” (.499), “admiration” (.604), “intention to become a public health nurse before admission” (.660), and “intention to become a public health nurse before field experience” (.649). With regard to the association between public health nursing as a career choice and subsequent course selection and self-efficacy, “intention to become a public health nurse before field experience” was correlated with “narrowing down to a single career choice” (.398) and “deciding that graduate school is necessary after graduation” (.398), whereas “intention to become a public health nurse after field experience” was correlated with “narrowing down to a single career choice” (.398). The students who entered college because they aspired to become a public health nurse had strong interest in licenses in nursing and public health nursing, and their intention to become a public nurse was strong during their studies, even during fieldwork. Also, students who had high interest in public health nursing had high levels of admiration of public health nurses as well as a strong intention to obtain a license. Furthermore, those who had the intention to make public health nursing a career choice after field experience had the confidence to narrow down to a single career choice. These findings suggest that courses should be designed to increase the motivation to learn both in students with low interest in public health nursing and in those who have already made public health nursing a career choice. | |||||
