| 内容記述 | 本研究の目的は，緩和ケア棟における実習体験前後で，学生の緩和ケアに対するイメージがどのように変化するのかを明らかにすることである。 研究対象者は，平成24年度に緩和ケア実習を履修した看護学科3年次生のうち，承諾を得られた41名である。研究方法は，質問紙法を用い，実習開始前と実習終了後に，無記名で，緩和ケアに対するイメージ36項目に「全然思わない」から「全くそう思う」の7件法で回答してもらった。また，死と生の距離を10cmで表した場合，緩和ケア棟で過ごしている方々はどの地点に立っていると思うかを線分で回答してもらった。分析には，t検定を用い実習前後の変化を比較検討した。 その結果，36項目中29項目(81%)において有意な差が認められた。「家庭的である」「明るい」「穏やかである」などのポジティブイメージは上昇し，「沈んでいる」「暗い」「どんよりしている」などのネガティブイメージは下降していた。死と生の距離については，実習前よりも実習後のほうが明らかに生に近づく線分で表現していた。 緩和ケア実習は，学生の緩和ケアに対するイメージを肯定的に変化させる可能性が示唆された。 |

| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study was to clarify how students revised their image of palliative care after practical training at the palliative care unit. Study subjects were 41 third-grade nursing students who had taken the Heisei 24 practical palliative care course and agreed to participate in this study. We conducted an anonymous questionnaire survey on their images of palliative care before and after the education course. The questionnaire included 36 image items that should be rated on a scale of 1 to 7 from “I never have such an image” to “I have such an image a hundred percent.” The subjects were also asked to answer their idea where patients of the palliative care unit stayed between death and life, the distance of which was supposed to be 10 cm. Scores of their images were compared between before and after the course using t-test. As a result, there was a significant difference in 29 of 36 images (81%). Scores were increased after the course in such positive images as “family-like environment,” “pleasant atmosphere” and “peaceful atmosphere,” while they were decreased in such negative images as “depressed,” “gloomy” and “oppressive.” The distance between death and life was definitely expressed as closer to life after the course than before it. |
