However, few studies have been made in the field of psychology, and no research has yet been accumulated that has clinical psychologist as the research collaborators.  Thus, in this paper, an interview survey was conducted with clinical psychologists working in psychiatric care as the subjects, and their emotional labor was considered from the viewpoint of clinical psychology. As a result, it was found that the emotional labor of clinical psychologists comprises “human nature” and “professionalism” , and that it is important for them to maintain a sense of balance between the two. In addition, according to this survey, the emotional labor of clinical psychologists had “congruence” (although not complete) in everyday scenes as well.
