自己概念の発達 : 乳児期，幼児期，児童期，思春期 Development on self-concept: From infancy to puberty. 若本, 純子 ワカモト, ジュンコ 若本 ワカモト 純子 ジュンコ 自己概念 領域個別的自己概念 乳児期から思春期の発達 性差 Self-concept Domain-specific self-concepts Development from infancy to puberty Gender differences with self-evaluation in puberty P(論文) 本稿では、乳児期から思春期に至る自己概念の発達を論じた。発達過程を概括すると、自己を発見する乳児期、自己概念が分化し始める幼児期、友人との比較などを通して自己概念が大きく発達する児童期、思春期の自己概念は一時的には混乱するが、その後安定し複雑化することが示唆された。自己概念が飛躍的な発達を遂げる幼児期から思春期については、Harter(2006)の知見に基づき考察を行った。さらに、わが国の中学生の自己概念に関する実証的検討からは、思春期女子の自己評価の低さは、女子が自己の諸側面に対して高い関心を向けていることと関連していることが明らかにされた。 This article described development on self-concept from infancy to puberty with literatures, included Harter (2006), and a survey research with junior-high-students in Tokyo. In summary of literatures, it was found a discovery of self in infancy, a differentiation of self-concepts in toddler and preschool, a remarkable progress of self-concepts with social comparison in school age, and a stable and complicate self-concepts in puberty, in spite of temporary confusion.
